Join Us for the 12 O’Clock Hills Winter Solstice Walk

Experience the magic of the Winter Solstice with our annual guided hike through the 12 O’Clock Hills on Saturday, 28th December.

  • Meeting Point: Car park from 5:30 PM
  • Departure: 6:00 PM sharp

This 7km hike will take you to the Upper Hills and back via the Forestry Road, offering a memorable way to celebrate the shortest day of the year.

Important Details:

  • Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under 8 years
  • Cost: €4 per person (pre-booking required)
  • Extras: Enjoy carols by the Kilkishen Youth Choir, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and mince pies at the halfway point
  • Restrictions: No dogs or buggies permitted
  • Gear: Warm clothing, sturdy boots, and a handheld or head torch required – it will be dark
